Auxiliary finings and FV hopping

Post by SiHoltye » Sun Nov 16, 2014 10:05 am

I have whole hops that I like the idea of blending up in order that they act as pellets do when added to the fermenter at the end of fermentation. That is to say they mostly mix well and settle down below tap level when given a few days to become saturated. I also like to use auxiliary finings (cellarbrite) in pale beers so was thinking of combining the two via a sanitised hand blender before adding and turning the cooler on. Having not done this before can anybody forsee problems?
