I Was planning to dry hop my milestone shine on this evening with citra. But it looks like this on day 9. Can I dry hop with citra. I am only a bit rushed as away until Friday night (day 12) and feel that is too late to dry hop.

Can anyone help? Thanks for any advice.

Leave it until your return and allow that krausen to drop out.
You want only co2 surface bubbles when you add your dry hops.... unless your an adventurous type ;)

I am not! Very nervous. If I do that on say day 12. How long should I leave it before bottling? is say five days enough time for the hops to taor their effect. Thanks for such a fast response!

I always leave my brews for 14 days for primary fermentation and then another 7-10 days for dry hopping and allow for them to clear a little.

Oh ok. So that is like 21 days in the same fv. Is that ok?

Yeah, same FV is fine for 3-4 weeks (providing your not taking the lid off every 5 minutes to have a look ;) )

Hahaha. No I have been extremely reserved this time. This is only the third time I have opened. It smelt lovely, so much better than the Wherry!
