Coopers Stout - OG

Post by dasbootfish » Thu Mar 19, 2015 8:51 pm

Evening all, done a coopers (ditch's) stout today, pretty similar to his recipe and method, ingredients below. The OG came out at 1026.....I thought this seemed extremely low. Any ideas fellas?

1 x tin coopers Stout
500g dark dme
500g medium dme
Half mug of raw brown cane sugar
Kit yeast

Mixed by drill paddle. Great froth and brilliant colour.
Thoughts/comments appreciated.

I meant to post this in the main kit brewing section, any idea how I move it there?
