How Home Brewing Can Grow
How Home Brewing Can Grow
Browsing through a lot of forum posts here, I see a lot of friends who have a passion for brewing. Brewing is a high level of knowledge, and if you take it up as a business, it can also bring in a decent amount of money . "brewing is a profound knowledge", whether it is from, how to brew, the selection of brewing equipment, or the operation and daily maintenance of equipment.
Does anyone know what to look out for if going from home brewing to commercial brewing?
for example:
market survey?
How to get started?
What does commercial brewing equipment include?

To make a small fortune brewing, start with a large fortune.
I'm just here for the beer.

Knowing how to brew beer well isn’t the most important thing to set up a brewery.
Knowing how to sell it is.
Knowing how to sell it is.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

Re: How Home Brewing Can Grow
Yes, but knowing how to brew makes beer customers more likely to come back and buy some a second (third, fourth, fifth, etc.)
time.
I'm just here for the beer.
Re: How Home Brewing Can Grow
From what I've heard, for a commercial operation, the brewing is the easy part. The long hours, the paperwork, accumulating a "war-chest" to tide you over for the first couple of years, then marketing, competition, satisfying the regulators/council/state, etc, all take the gloss off very quickly. And you'll fondly remember how nice it was just being a home-brewer and enjoying the hobby. Going commercial could well kill your enjoyment.
But if you're determined, if it comes to taking some sort of course to get you started, it's a Business Course you'll need!

You could do worse than look at one of the forum sponsor's courses http://www.brew-school.com/results/?tag ... %20brewing

Can I ask you why you are doing it?

The OP hasn't visited the forum since they posted that question.

Sometimes they may return after a while posting a link to a fantastic product they've found (and get commission from). We'll see.

Thanks Jim. Perhaps we didn't give the correct response.
Re: How Home Brewing Can Grow
Funnily enough, someone of the same name works for a Chinese company that provides commercial brewing equipment. What a strange coincidence.

And his last few words were. "commercial brewing equipment include"
