Is there anyone on the forum who can advise me which is the best wort cooler to use either a cfc or a immersion one. cheers

If you want a rough and ready reply:
a) If you have more money than sense*
b) or are brewing 100 litres or more
go for counterflow.

Otherwise make an immersion chiller from half a roll of 10mm microbore. If you waggle it up and down (the chiller) during cooling you can cool 40 litres in 15 minutes.

* ie like some members of this forum you're incredibly clever, but fabulously wealthy
