Thermo Box - Daft question

Post by Burner » Mon Mar 10, 2008 1:25 am

I've attached a ball tap to the outside of my thermo box - very nice but what kind of connector do I need to attach to the little thread on the inside to attach my 15mm piping to? I'm damned if I can find the right thing.

Just to be clear this is the steel thermo box from nordic wotzit on ebay.
I have just screwed the Tap into the thread of the connector where the not so good tap was connected to the thermo box. There is only a small hole on the inner of the box and a smaller thread emerges there on the inside. I need to get some sort of adaptor to allow me to fit the 15mm nut onto the smaller thread.

Thanks, that gets me closer in my quest!

If the nut on the inside of the thermobox is 3/8" then replace it with a 3/8"x1/2" hexagon reduction bush. You will also need a 15mmx1/2" tap connector to solder to your manifold.

For example: BES part Numbers 6623 (Hex reduction bush) and 6853 (tap connector).
