i've finally succumb to the lure of a cornie and after all the various bits have arrived from norm i was looking forward to haveing a play with all the new kit but there's no gas coming out of the bottle!
i've connected the reg and screwed it up tight but the guage hasn't moved at all when i've turned the gas on.
the valve at the top only moves half an inch or so from the off to the on position. is this correct?
and should gas come out without the reg fitted?
i've even weighed the bottle and it's showing the correct weight for full.
i'm starting to think i'm too stupid to cope with a corni set up.
can anybody advise if i've made some stupid error?
help - no gas coming out of bottle
Re: help - no gas coming out of bottle
Its probably very tight and the knob is loose so that its actuall half an inch of play rather than turning the tap!
Tighten the nut on top of the taphandle.
Then try again

Re: help - no gas coming out of bottle
Most co2 regs have a screw in the centre which will adjust the flow of gas into the regulator. On my reg the screw will be "unscrewed" to reduce co2 into the regulator and "screwed" to increase.
