I'd have it if I had anywhere to put it! :(

Managed to squeeze in a brewday yesterday.

17L of lovely beer fermenting away nicely this morning.

The mash/hop filters performed perfectly.

Emptying out the spent mash from the tun was a lot easier than the 100L brewdays I've had in the past.

The foker burner got the liquor up to 74C in around 20 mins.

From mash runoff to boiling took around 10 mins.

The boil was as fierce as I dared allow and I had to turn it right down to stop it boiling over a couple of times.

I'd have taken some brewday shots if My Daughter hadn't turned My digicamera into a doorstop.

I reckon it was the most enjoyable brewday I've had in a good while.

Can't wait for the next brewday.

I think you'll find that's the inside of his mash tun not his boiler.
Best wishes

It looks mucho splendid!

I thought of using one of those but with a flat bottomed pot it would not work.

The mesh might be cheaper though!

But what if you placed it on a copper ring, or a plate with the middle out and it sewn on to the plate or even get some of this SSteel mesh tubing to go around it?http://www.themeshcompany.com
