Look what I found. :D

A 3kw heat stick holder , well its a power flush heating aid for central heating.

Before I decided to put a heat stick in a pipe viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23643 I was playing around with (Val) kilner jars with pool heater elements in but could not seal the lid with any success, I even went with a 3kw emersion heater in a Copper pasta holder but gave up on the grounds of safety, I looked hard all beit not long but long enough to go with the pipe and heat stick or i'd never get to brew again, I even got a great link from a chap doing Bio diesel who created a mild steel pipe with a 3kw Emersion heater in.http://www.graham-laming.com/bd/heater_ ... index.html
Now looking at a way to use a plate chiller I stumbled across this unit, I'm sure its an arm and a leg and bound not to be Food safe but what a RIMS system heart this would be.

It's very handsome but rather expensive.

The CombiHeat is an optional heating element for use with the CombiMag Power Flushing Filter.

Designed for use with the Kamco CombiMag power flushing filter
You need the Power Flushing Pump kit plus the CombiHeat element

OK, it's probably less than I've managed to spend on brewing equipment in the last two years
