Hi all I was wondering could you help me , I have just started out and at the moment have two brews going (nettle beer and TC) . My problem is that when I bought the equipment I bought a keg as well as a FV, when Im reading some of the posts they seem to say "bung an airlock on the keg" , where do you put the bung on a keg? there is a screw top but do you cut a hole out in the screw part? At the moment I have my nettle beer in the FV and then I was going to transfer to the keg when fermenting finshes but i keep hearing "bung an airlock on it " Also my FV isnt sealed or anything just a cloth over it so im concearned about that. Scrap that, just been looking at wilko,s and I have a pressure barrel not a fermenting barrel, DOH
