beer engine identification

Post by Ray Mason » Thu Jun 04, 2009 10:37 pm

Hi, Just dismantling my newly acquired but extremely dirty beer engine and some of the seals have almost disintegrated. The only markings are; C & G stamped onto the top and bottom lids and GAS and what seems to be ELLS around the centre. As the seals seem rather fancy conical shaped things I was hoping to get the proper ones, if possible. Can anyone help with manufacturer’s identification, please? Thanks Ray.

GASKELL & CHAMBERS

I think they folded, or at least stopped making handpumps, some time ago.
