Made up from 2 100 litre stockpots purchased off Ebay for the HLT and boiler and a 60 litre mashtun made from a thermobox purchased from nordic optical also on Ebay.

Nice bit of tilling too... White with the Green... Nice ;)
It always amazes me how people make such organised brewing areas :)

I'm planning to have an organised setup when we move, I even have loads of tiles going spare! ;)
My other half helps me cap my bottles and doesn't mind too much when I've made the kitchen floor sticky! :D

Wow, is that sparge arm DIY?

If so, how the devil did you make it?

It took ages to get a sparge arm, finally purchased one off amazon.com believe it or not. There was a bit of DIY involved in making the support for the sparge arm, so it would sit nicely on the mashtun. It cost a bit more than I anticipated!! But worth it in the end!!

That looks like the exact same pump as mine. Did you get it off ebay from the US?

With my one, I find that 1/2" silicone tubing fits perfectly over the in/out ports and doesn't leak at all - even under full pressure without the jubilee clips. The benefit then is that you can take the head off in about 10 seconds and pop it apart to sanitise with no hassle whatsoever. The pump head was my biggest worry for sanitising after the plate chiller.

By the way - where did you get your brew stand bits from? Are they bought or made?

Thanks for the advice about the pump, and yes your right about the pump coming from the US adm. I think it was you who gave me the link many months ago! It's a good pump, it handles the hot temperatures pretty well, it does seem to leak from the hose clips sometimes when hot water is being circulated.
As for the framework for the brewery it was a DIY job, as my bro is pretty nifty with a mig welder and a pot of Hammerite.
