I was cleaning some cornies today & the in & out cornie post tap connectors cracked & fell to bits  I must have left some beer line cleaner mix in them & it's eaten then away O my god i won't do that again as they aren't that cheap to waste.

I'm feeling your mistake pain. I've just syphoned at least 10 litres of cider to the floor whilst kegging because I left the keg tap on after cleaning & looked away at the interweb whilst syphoning.

I really need to have a word with myself about multi-skills & not doing or trying it ever again.

Is there anyone else who has made a homebrew mistake & will hopefully learn from it? Perhaps this thread is the place to post - sort of a confessional booth for accidental mishaps.

Yeah I think most of us have made a boo boo along these lines. I left my tap open on my FV and had good wort all over the carpet, fortunately it was only a couple of hundred mls.
