CORKS?

Post by GARYSMIFF » Mon Jul 27, 2009 11:57 pm

Hello,
I have a nice collection of large Leffe bottles and wish to use them very soon, Now I do not own a large cap tool and have in the past used the plastic Champers corks.

Is there any reason why I should not use normal wine corks for these, as they fit nice and snug?

I could always melt some wax on the top for no reason...lol

any one else used the Large leffe for Beer with corks?

Plastic champagne corks and cages are a good solution. Easy to use, but a bit ugly. Normal corks will push out if overpressured, and maybe lead to the escape of gases.
