can you get it out of the door?

LOL only joking, I did know some one who built their son a bed in the front room as it was raining, you can guess the rest.

Hi Crookedeyeboy, Here are a few picks of the stand, not exactly in action just showing where the equipment sits, I keep meaning to take some more photo's during a brewday but just keep forgetting.

Thats one lovely little set up. A pool table as well! Lovely :D
I take it the stand makes things a little less cumbersome? Do you fill the HLT from a fitted tap or is it just filled from a hosepipe?

Nice...

That's brilliant DC! Just what I've been thinking about to avoid an accident with my HLT or MT. I'm not much of a carpenter (well not at all actually!) but I have got various bits of electric gear like saws, drills etc. The bit I was uncertain about was how to make the joints in the framework. Were those fancy carpentry joints or did you just screw through one piece of frame into the end of the other part?

Hi guys, 1st off I fill my HLT with hot water from the combi boiler in the kitchen and then carry it out to the garage :!: its only ever got 15.3 L of water in it at any one time so its not a problem carrying it to the garage and lifting it up to the top tier of the brew stand  and it only takes about 5 mins to get up to the strike temp.

2ndly as for the joints whilst building the stand, I was going to do fancy joints but decided it would take too long and I aint that good at wood working  so it was a case of just screwing through one section into the next section nothing fancy.

Cheers DC
