I'm just about to get started on my first complete from grain beer. I've managed to source pretty much everything except the boiler. While I'm still starting down this long road I don't want to throw too much cash at the problem, so, I was looking at getting a boiler/pot type that I can use on stove (5 gallon batch so around a 6 gallon boiler).
Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look for something of this capacity at a reasonable price? The wife has a 4 gallon stainless steel pan but that's just a touch too small.
Thanks
Seri

It may be cheaper to build an electric boiler using a food grade tub/barrel off of Ebay and an electric kettle element. Lots of threads about doing this on the forum. Use the search facility.

Thanks, after a brief trawl through the forums and then scouting on ebay I now have some sturdy plastic barrels winding their way to me. Next stop with be Tesco's for a kettle...
