Any idea where i'd find one of these ?

Post by mysterio » Tue Sep 01, 2009 3:36 pm

It's for the port of a 10" filter housing, the male thread looks to be about 3/4", not sure the diameter of the barb but it would fit into a standard syphon...

I know one of you will know

Cheers!

Is this for your GAC10 water filter housing?
I've used brass 3/4" to 22mm on mine.
This JG valve fits nicely if you need to control the water inlet. It has a 15mm pushfit with 3/4"
Check out the beers we have for sale @ Mix Brewery

Guys, that helps a lot, cheers. Hose tail, so that's what they're called. Yeah it is for a water filter housing but I use it to filter lagers.

Is it an American housing? If so it will be NPT not BSP. That said, a load of PTFE tap usually makes them compatible....

Oh yeah, cheers for that Steve.

Is there anywhere that sells NPT fittings here? If not i'll just get the PTFE tape out I suppose
