I need a long handle spoon / paddle

Post by mctoon » Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:45 pm

As the title says,,, my 18 inch spoon is not quite long enough to reach the bottom of my mash tun, unless i burn my fingers off. Anyone know of a "longer" one and where at?,,,

Cheers Mal

Hop and Grape do a nice one, I've used one for a bit now and I find it excellent for mashing in with

it's 70cm long, which is about 27 inches

Nah, mine's plastic and therefore can also be used to stir the FV, something I wouldn't chance with a wooden one. :P

You can just see part of the handle of my paddle in this shot:

I think it's just under 3 ft long, and cost about £15 from an Indian-style catering shop :D Smooth welded flat blade...
