Regulators

Im currently changing over to cornys and have 3 secondary regulators but been told off a friend that one is for mixed gas.
Are they all not the same thing. I know mixed gas and c02 bottles have a different fitting for the primary reg but didnt know there were different secondarys.
Is he right or not?
