Submersible Pump

Post by Steve1262 » Sun Sep 13, 2009 1:56 pm

Hi All.
I'm wanting to set up a pump and hose system to pump warm/hot soapy water for general cleaning of brew equipment, cornie's, FV's, etc
Is anyone using or know of any small suitable pumps for this purpose, it wouldn't have to empty a swimming pool so small is the key but it would have to be ok with a bit of temperature.

one of those pump attachments you use with a drill, known as a 'drill pump' would probably do the job.
Im guessing you have to choose wisely as I can imagine the diaphrams used in pumps vary considerably depending on their use, some, as you are already aware, may not be suitable for warm hot liquide.
