Cleaning a beer chiller & beer lines

Post by BritishBelgianTwst » Tue Sep 15, 2009 11:58 am

Hi,

I noticed a bit of an eggy smell the last time I used my beer chiller and lines and was wondering what I can use to give them a good clean. At the moment I just run a bit of water through them and iodophor solution from time to time but I'd like to give them a good clean.
Unfortunately living in Belgium will probably mean getting hold of proper line cleaning stuff won't be easy so any other solutions are welcome.
For info I use a beer engine so I shouldn't need to fill up a corny with any cleaning product as I can pump it through without CO2.

Cheers,

Paul
Drinking: Corny 1 - some beer
Corny 2 - some more beer
Bottled - a few different beers
