Hot wort pumps

Post by mattkee » Sat Oct 10, 2009 10:58 pm

I have seen some very expensive hot wort pumps for sale. Any ideas on other ways to do the job more cheaply (other than gravity), I have about 1 meter head to pump 10 gallons of wort.

Thanks

Do a search on ebay for a speck my2-8000 pump.

There is a guy in america that sells them.

They are 24vdc and require a 6 amp 24vdc laptop power supply or similar.

With shipping and vat etc they work out at around 100 quid including the fittings.

Or March-May 809 HS, came in at £94 each from http://www.marchmay.co.uk/. Good service, very helpful.
