Anybody know where i can get 50 or 60 cm square 60 grade stainless mesh without paying silly prices? The m*sh company and in*xia want £18 a sheet (30 cm is around £7 a sheet)

Don't know what these guys' prices are like, but it might be worth a phone call?

Have a look at this on eBay? Or this?

Thanks for those links edit.
They all seem to be the same price, around £30 for two sheets so i will be making a smaller hop pellet stopper.

You could try the stainless spatter screen from the kitchen department at IKEA - someone on here sewed two of them back-to-back with wire. I can't find the item on their website though. There is a convenient central reinforcement which you can use to locate your elbow fitting.
