Simple question, Do i need to "clean" the chiller after use, or simply put it back into the boiler in the next brew
All i have done is give it a quick rinse in cold water

A simple washdown is all that is required to remove hop debris etc.
A 50:50 water vinegar solution can be used on a cloth to remove the tarnish than can develop between brews otherwise it will be dissolved in the beer next time.
Lemon juice will do the same thing or even citric acid crystals.
Wash the vinegar off after though.
