Keg taps - can you take them apart?

I have one of these on my boiler:

There's a bit of crud in it that I can't quite get at to clean. Can these taps be taken apart for cleaning and put back together, or do I need to go and get a new tap?

Yes. Just prise the cap off the top and unscrew - the insides then come out. When putting them back together, note they have a double thread, so there are two positions where they will screw in. If you get the wrong one the tap will probably leak.
