Firkins and pins

Post by Eadweard » Mon Nov 23, 2009 7:34 pm

Is it possible for us homebrewers to buy metal firkins and pins or are plastic ones from barleybottom our best bet?

I'm sure you could buy metal firkins but the plastic ones are going to be a lot cheaper.

was given a quote of £75 for a 50 ltr stainless steel keg ( its close to a firkin size)
that was brand new and you could have your brewery name stamped on it

Hereford Casks

Branding of your choice, no minimum order. They also do pins. I can vouch for the quality. I think they're 65 quid each + VAT.
