How to convert Continental Tap to JG Fitting?

I just got one of the cool shiny Continental taps from Norm but the beer-in fitting is a barb. I would like to have a 3/16" JG fitting and would rather not have to go down the fitting a JG onto the barb if possible or barb to 3/8 tube to 3/16 JG fitting. I saw someone (Vossy maybe) who seemed to have a Continental tap with the JG fitting coming out the back (below).
