After a bit of thought I decided to keep mine in the shed. We have a spare room which is unheated and would be ideal to house the cornies, but I didn't fancy the thought of a cylinder's worth of CO2 leaking out into the house overnight.

I got my first one about a month ago and asked the same question. The general opinion was that they are no less safe than a fire extinguisher so I keep mine in the kitchen

Ditto, Garage. Securely fastened.
