Food grade bins

Post by Blackaddler » Sat Dec 19, 2009 4:34 pm

Has anyone bought any of the food grade bins from Household and Garden Plastics. They also have an ebay shop.

The 110L bins look quite good [apart from the colours].

Lockable lids as well, so should be good for storing grain. It's a shame they don't come in white/natural .

Does anyone have one of the yellow bins? I'm wondering if it might make a good fermenting vessel? They reckon that they're pretty thick, which probably means that you can't see the liquid level through the plastic. Still, if it's going to be wrapped up in insulation anyway...
