Hi chaps, i have 4 of these taps off norm, but cant get the pipe from the cornie to fit the taps barb. Norm says to heat up the pipe and it will fit....but it wont!!
What have you chaps used? the pipe that fits the taps barb is about 12mm ID but the cornie pipe is about 9mm.

Norms Kegorator taps..piping them up?!
Re: Norms Kegorator taps..piping them up?!
What taps? Are you sure about the barb and line size? Sounds a very strange size for a cornie fitting.
Re: Norms Kegorator taps..piping them up?!
Norms kegorator taps, the ones designed to fit on to a kegorator, not on the keg. the cornies post's JG fitting allows a certain sized pipe to fit it, but the kegorator tap's pipe barb is too thick for that pipe size it to fit onto. Will probably have to bodge somat for xmas.

Ok then, just do as Norm said, heat the line in boiling water and push on.
A pic would be very helpful. Here is a tap, barb and line typical of those Norm supplies. The line is 3/8" od and as near as damn 1/4" id. in metric that's 9.5mm x 6.7mm.

what he said - cup of boiling water - soak the pipe for 30 seconds and it fits on.
Push it up as far as you can. For added secutity i popped cable ties on.
I really dont want a pipe popping off of the tap under pressure.

Thanks chaps, i didnt boil the pipe when i tried, so will stick it in the kettle and see if all goes to plan this time! Got a brew on...Banks's Bitter!
