Hi i have bought a new copper immersion wort chiller , apart from putting it in the boiling wort 15mins before end of boil do i need to clean it in any other way as i have seen on a web site about boiling the chiller in white vinegar / water solution before first use thanks gary.

Its worth doing as you have said. I made my own and gave it a good scrub with hot water and soda crystals followed by a good rinse and scrub with a final boil and rinse, this removed any flux and oxide. Once in use all I have ever done is blast the trub off with a hose and bung it in the boil 15 mins from the end!
