Ok the problem i`m having is this.
I bought my Stainless vessels that have a 1" BSP Male outlet, i was just gonna buy 1" Female Ball Valves to screw onto them,
but WTF they cost a bloody fortune, so what i need is to reduce the 1" male to something like 15mm or half inch, but after trawling the net
for about an hour and getting nowhere, i just wondered if such a thing exists, it would want to be a 1" Female to 1/2" Male or Female,
its either that or i just blank the buggers off and drill new holes, but the outlets are right at the bottom of the vessel so nothing gets left behind,
and would like to use them if possible.

Fit bush

Screw in threaded male valve (use regular comp fit valve and chuck away the nuts and olives).
Alernatively use socket, then fit reducer

and screw in female 1/2" valve.
(a 1" bsp is way bigger than you'll need anyway)

Re: Any Plumbers Out There ?
Whilst up at the Father In laws over Xmas (Thats where 2 of my tanks are being kept) i noticed that one had a 3 piece tap on it ,
problem is the outside of it is a bit gunky, i`ve stripped it down and the inside is spotless, but whats the best thing to give it
a right good clean, i didn`t want to just use bog standard degreaser as not sure if this would affect anything ?.

Re: Any Plumbers Out There ?
Not really sure but its metal and if you scrape the gunk its shiny, i know the vessels were used in the food industryChris-x1 wrote:What's the tap made of ?
prior to me obtaining them so i`m guessing they are stainless as they are too heavy for aluminium.
