I don't seem to be able to find the original design on the forum.Is it still there?

Thanks very much for the replies. I have a few questions
1) When it says not necessary to solder is this refering to soldering the copper to the connector of are we talking about the elbow to the 15mil copper pipe.If it is the latter is there not a danger of breaking the syphon effect. Similarly is there also not a danger that a tube pushed up the outlet tap not be a good fit and again spoil the syphon effect.
2)Would it be a good idea to have a say smaller diameter tube connected to the tap to increase the syphon effect as the outlet would be lower

Thanks Chris I,ve filled the whole fitting up with solder so not only is it solid but also there are no cavities for the grain to get trapped
