Large crown caps!

Post by Mountain » Sun Feb 07, 2010 4:41 pm

Hi,

Anyone know where to buy large crown caps?
-
Some large Hoegaarden bottles have been donated to me. I know these are capped but the size is larger. I do like the idea of using bigger bottles.
-
Plus, I'm not sure if my capper would work with them.........anyone got experience of this.

Cheers.

Yeah, most of the wheatbeers in large bottles are, but some such as Hoegaarden have caps.

my local hbs in bolton stocks a type of capper that does both regular size and the larger ones! he also stocks both sizes of crown caps.you'd have to give him a ring to find out the exact sizes! he'd probably send some thru post if you sent a cheque flea bay stylie!
