Keg tap leaking

Post by crafty john » Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:03 am

Hi all
I got a two gallon pressure barrel bought as a christmas pressy to keg my 2 gallon extract brews, I need to transfer my latest extract brew so I filled the keg 2/3rds with water and gave it a blast of co2 to make sure it is sealing properly and the tap is leaking at the black rubber seal :( I have tightened it properly but it just keeps on leaking  Would a bit of Vaseline do the trick :?:

Cheers guys
John

I have managed to get a tight seal on the rubber seal, now there is a leak on the tap itself from the collar where the tap rotates just behind the tap itself, I have rang the supplier and they are sending a new tap out today FOC :D
