What tool for cleaning up stainless cut

Post by Andy » Sat Mar 10, 2007 4:59 pm

Just cut the top off a stainless keg using a cutting disc in an angle grinder and the resulting edge is very rough. What tool is best for smoothing out the rough edge ?

Depends just how rough the edge is Andy, you could use a grinding disc in your angle grinder or one ofThese
if it's not too rough.
It might take a little too long with your Dremmel and a carbide burr :=P

It's pretty rough so a grinding disc sounds like the job, cheers.

sorry Tubby but imo you'd be better off with a good bastard file rather than one of those things.
Quite allright DaaB
