badkyard keg?

oh, i've now got some lovely beer in my new brewmaster top-tap keg. it's delicious - i'm really impressed with myself! BUT i'm basically just keeping the keg in the back yard (with a sandwich bag around the tap so creepy crawlies don't get in). is there any reason why i shouldn't do this? it's in a shady corner...
