[quote="Davesbc"]I ordered a bunch of stuff from polsinelli on the 4th November and still haven't received it. I couldn't find much info about the company or it's products online so spending over €2000 euros with them was a nerve racking experience! I was looking at thier site for ages toying with the idea of ordering but it wasn't until i spoke to a brewer who uses their kit and said it's good stuff that i built up the courage to place an order.

I ordered 2x 300L pots 1x400L pot, 4x 300L fermenters, 4x cooling panels, a false bottom, a custom made hop filter for the 400L pot, stands for the pots and a bunch of other fittings and bits.

Postage was €450 euros!!

I'll let you know what it's like when/if I receive it![/quote]
Am I reading glasses their site correct that their pots have a 10mm thickness? Sounds perfect for a mashtun.

I'm confused by that, I don't know what 10/10mm is supposed to mean, but I really don't think it means 10mm thick, it'd be a lot more expensive if it was heh!.

10mm thick ? Are you planning on trying to shoot at it ? not to mention a 300 litre pot at 10mm wall thickness would weigh several tons ...

I detect a missing decimal point.. 1.0mm would be more reasonable

True but 1.5 for the bottom is way too thin. The pots I use in the kitchen have a 10mm bottom thickness, so 15mm for one this size doesn't sound unreasonable.

So the 10/10mm figure....

1.0mm wall / 10mm base thickness perhaps ?

I sent them an email asking clarification.

Hmmm, I think it's 1mm thick. I've gotta cut holes for the elements so i really hope they aren't 10mm thick!!

That would be a pain but also ideal for the mashtun.

My 300l fermenter the wall is nowhere near 1mm thick the pots may be though. BTW I can't see the pots over 200l where am I missing them?

Cheers for that. I think I may have the answer to the thickness I suspect for example the 500L pot wall thickness of 15/10mm is a fraction ie 15 tenths of a mm or 1.5mm

All the kit arrived yesterday and im really impressed.
The fermenters are exactly the same as the pots, just with a thicker lid, rubber seal and clamps to hold the lid down.
The outlets are welded 3/4" bsp female threads and the welds are very tidy/smooth.
The mash tun false bottom is seriously heavy duty.

How do i add pictures? BBcode says it's off and I can't see where to switch it on
