sankey keg tool cheap and easy

Even cheaper and easier if you don't have a stilson and don't wish to start cutting heavy metal tube is a bog standard basin wrench for under £3 from Toolstation. No doubt available from B&Q etc. too.

Drop a 5 pence piece centre bit fit sankey keg tap in once you use tool to losen the fitting :)

Basically use the basin wrench to unscrew the spear - it's a perfect fit.

Next drop the coin in and put the coupler on - this can be a bit tricky until you're used to it as the spear can now turn freely.

Engage the coupler (as if you are trying to get beer out) - the addition of the coin will mean the safety is disengaged.

I'd say be careful of the threads too they can be quite sharp.
