Connecting regulator to Corny keg gas gas line

Post by themaltmeister » Wed Aug 03, 2016 9:58 am

I am trying to find a part to connect the outlet of this gas regulator -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CO2-MIG-Weldi ... 25a8493b03

to a 3/8" gas line connected to a Corny keg. Can anyone confirm whether the part below (see link) would do it? -

Sorry to bump an old thread, but having a similar problem with this regulator. Seems to be 1" male connectors, and want to connect to 3/8 line. Any thoughts please?

Do a google on bsp thread sizes , i think the size your looking for will be a 1/2 bsp hose tail

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I've been Googling for the last hour or so, and learnt a bit about the terminology. I already have JG 1/2" BSP Female Adaptor to 3/8" Push Fit, and have just found this on ebay. Hopefully, problem solved.

there is a great lookup table in the wikipeadia bsp entry..https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_S ... read_sizes

if using a hosetail fitting and jubilee clip (DONT FORGET THE JUBILEE CLIP) to secure the 3/8" gas line, the ID of the 3/8" od gas line is 1/4" so a 1/4" hosetail is the ideal size..
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(

Hi,

Here's another good table (downloadable as PDF), which I found very useful in order to better understand BSP fittings.
