What's the largest volume I could get a good rolling boil using 2x3kw ulwd elements ?
Would be in the garage so possible low ambient temps but could insulated

I think you could get up to semi-commercial volumes with 6kw. I'm told my 3kw will easily handle 100 litres.
However, my garage ring won't cope with two 3kw when they both approach full power (HLT and boiler on at same time) because it trips the circuit.

With good insulation you can sustain a rolling of 200L with 1 3Kw element but you want at least another one to get in there in a reasonable time scale.

i can attest that a 3kw element is sufficient to maintain a good boil in a 98l pot (80l+) with a hop spider occupying a significant area of the boil surface.
