Autovac beer engine

Thought that was amusing and scary! (Check the beer engine photo with connection to the tray)!

Now to invent one, to do the same thing with kegged beer ;)

That's an interesting blog post and the argument in the comments section is hilarious! But come on pouring the drip tray back into the autovac is just skanky!

That's pretty grim!

Enjoyed the comments too (and anyway, North Yorkshire is the largest UK county, not West.....)

Yeah it's very grim. I hope the autovacs never had a shared drip tray with other beer engines too ;)

Pub I used to work in, which will remain nameless, used to collect the drip trays in a bucket and then refill barrels at the end of the night. Yuck.

Hence the guidance - 'Always drink what the Landlord drinks'.
It started with kits to save money and now look........!!!

Lots of kit, too many ingredients and not enough time, but a patient wife.... who loves my beer...........

Could be worse :-)

Common in the 70's, with equipment especially made to do it, open secret.
