Keggle build

I am going to build a new keggle but I need to get this part of the keg . Is this possible? I think I have tried everything . It’s just the top triangle bit

hey, sorry can you explain a bit more exactly what it is you have done and are now trying to do? then we should be able to help no problem

Thanks for the reply , I need to get the top bit of the keg. I think it should come of but I can’t get it off with anything . ISA modified herms system . It was to save drilling a hole .

A small amount of plastic explosive should do it, all depends on how neat a job your after.

haha yeah it's hard to tell from that picture but if it's the same as one of mine i solved the problem with an anglegrinder

did you get this off in the end?

is it really important to not cut it off? that neck wont support a 2" tri clamp fitting anyways so i'm just wondering if there's a good reason to keep it intact? you can always solder/weld a (4" even) ferrule on yourself and it'll be even better.
