I had one and it worked perfectly. Get the biggest one that will fit if funds allow.

Had both, bigger is better (on this occasion) but just make sure you can get it in and out of the kettle. Electric elements and their position might be the compromise.
I am "The Little Red Brooster"

Fermenting:
Conditioning:
Drinking: Southwold Again,

Up Next: John Barleycorn (Barley Wine)
Planning: Winter drinking Beer

DX was all that could fit in my kettle. Super filter for leaf hops, struggled with pellets, but then they all do.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

That's what I found with that size, particularly whirlpooling. However, I got round it to a certain extent by using leaf for bittering and putting some pellets into a seperate hop basket hooked over the heating elements.

That’s my concern at the moment too, got a spider for pellets and was hoping get either of these to help further.

Any idea on the hight of the hose connection to the filter?

Thanks again for the replies all

Should be in line with the kettle tap. You have some flexibility as the silicon hose will adjust to connect.
