I’ve been thinking about buying the keg extensions for my 14 gal Chronical in order to make dumping and cleaning easier.
Various reviewers have mentioned that the legs on their own are pretty flimsy and really need the additional shelf fitted at ground level in order to make the whole thing sturdy again.
Has anyone else found this?

Re: SS Brewtech Chronical leg extensions- any good?
I have recently purchased a 1/2 BBL Chronical and I got the leg extensions to go with it. I was little disappointed, as I think the extensions should fit more squarely than they do and the the legs are not as straight as I think they should be considering the cost. I don't have the SS shelf. Despite the above I have found the legs sturdy enough. I currently I have 60lt in the fermenter. No issues with the legs when I have been moving it around empty. No plans on moving it around when full.
I hope this helps.

Thanks @razzrockbolt - I've had some additional advice that the shelf adds much more stability and that aluminium sealing/crush washers enable the legs to be tightened up so that they align properly.
As you say, seems a shame that they are not a better fitting product given the price.

I may have to look for aluminium sealing/crush washers. Cheers for the info.
