(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

I also asked about the alkalinity, this was the reply:

'Sometimes customers also ask for the alkalinity for home brewing
purposes and so i've included these figures below,

Min = 9.03 mg/l HCO3
Max = 13 mg/l HCO3
Average = 11.1 mg/l HCO3

Pretty naff but this gives Calcium and Calcium Carbonate measurements for all regions South-West Water supplies. I'm going to contact them about a detailed report for the Plymouth area.
