Received my line cleaner today. Can't fault Chris's service and craftsmanship. Works really well. Bypasses the need for adapters or using a cornie. Which is great for me because I don't like having a donor cornie that I keep putting starsan in.

Well done Chris. Did you lathe the plastic on your metal lathe? Think that will be the next thing I put on my garage improvements list.

Thanks for the positive feedback chaps, glad your happy with them.

Yes, i have a small workshop for other hobbies when I'm not brewing beer. The corny post adaptors are turned from bar stock.
Only problem is... lathes and beer don't mix very well

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks to all the folks who bought one over the last few days. They have been dispatched today.

All have been tested and flushed with Star San, so don't Fear the Foam.

I'll give my lines a blast with it this weekend and report back. Definitely the answer. I can now fill my third Cornie with beerinstead of starsan for line cleaning. Result!

Hi Dribbler,

Been on Google the last few weeks hunting around for the bits to make exactly this!

Had to re-join forum as i forgot my login details. Hey ho. Maybe ifI had signed up originally before sampling some of my shed produce I may have remembered the details.

I'm interested in buying one if you have any left?

Regards

Dave

Tested it tonight and it worked a treat. Sanitised my lines perfectly and poured a perfect pint from my cornie. Which is a result as this is following 2x failed batches. Works equally as well as a cornie without the waste of co2 and having to keep one spare.

Hi,

Welcome back to the forum then. Some of the bits can only be obtained from usa I think. Hence why I made one instead.

But..Yes I have some, I placed some on ebay the other day. But they are cheaper thru here as ebay costs are high.

Cheers

Good to know it worked well for ya.
It nice to know your lines are clean... I was drinking from a corny the other night without the co2 attached. The pressure was real low and when the co2 dropped off, the beer started flowing backwards into the corny. If my lines were dirty i would'nt have been casual about it.
..

But am I reading this right?
You filled the cleaner full of beer, pumped up and dispensed from it?   =D>
