Wonderful stuff, Starsan. It's been my sanitiser of choice for some while now. Either tipping it in to the kegs or spraying it on to other things.
But now I'm using it a bit differently. In addition to the tipping and spraying methods I've made up about 7 litres in a small bucket and have put various bits of gear in it to keep them sanitised.
Does anyone know how long the solution will continue to be effective, please? In other words, how often will it need to be renewed?
Thanks.
Guy

Re: How long does Starsan last?
I use it in a similar way for keeping tubing in a v.large sealed plastic tupperware type box, 'ready for action'
I would ensure it covered though to ensure dust etc doesn't fall in it
It does go a bit hazy after a while, but my understanding is as long as pH is below 3 its OK.

It does last ages as long as kept clear of any crud. I've found though that using it to store things in can make things a bit sort of slimy after time
Just like trying new ideas!
