Drying polypins

Post by gobuchul » Thu Mar 31, 2016 5:51 pm

I use the "bag in a box" type polypins with my beer engine.

After cleaning it is very difficult to get them completely dry inside.

Any tips or techniques?

if they are collapsing on you and if you have a co2 supply you could try inflating them, otherwise storing full of a persistent sanitiser solution like starsan perhaps?

No need to fill them with star san, just swill it out with star san or videne, never had any problems this way. When you want to fill it just swill it out again with some fresh sanitser. I always clean them with PBW after use also.

After using I clean with Oxy, rinse then just leave. Sterilize with star san before use.
