It is a bit from left field, but when you think about it the smoked malt we traditionally buy to create a smoked beer is just a medium for transferring the sticky elements of smoke into the beer. @ Andy__ the smoke aspect reminded me slightly of Peat Smoked Malt, nice but not as nice as Rauch Malt's Beech smokiness. Clever stuff still.

Sorry haven't been on this forum for ages! It was the normal Carafa#1. Doesn't make much difference though tbh.
